Who Do I Work With
Adults & Identity Work
For those ready to understand themselves at a deeper level.

I support adults navigating anxiety, identity shifts, burnout, trauma patterns, and emotional overwhelm. My approach utilizes practical nervous-system regulation tools, and grounded therapeutic insight.

Sessions are structured, collaborative, and paced intentionally - helping clients build regulation, clarity, and a more secure relationship with themselves.

Clients often leave feeling steadier, more self-aware, and more connected to their inner world.

WHOLE-SELF HEALING
Healing is not one-dimensional.
At Still Light Therapy, we work with the full picture-your thoughts, your body, your emotional patterns, and your lived experiences.
Through a combination of trauma-informed therapy, somatic awareness, and reflective practices, sessions are designed to help you reconnect with yourself in a way that feels steady and sustainable.
This is not about fixing you.
It’s about understanding you.
Compassionate Healing
Every journey begins with safety, presence, and care, because true healing starts when you feel seen and supported.

At the heart of Still Light Therapy is compassion. Every session is rooted in safety, presence, and deep care, creating space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Healing begins with gentleness, and this value anchors all we do.
Empowerment Through Awareness
Healing is reclaiming your power - transforming pain into purpose and stepping into your most authentic self.

Healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken - it’s about reclaiming your power and stepping into your authentic self. Our work invites you to release old patterns, transform pain into purpose, and find clarity in who you are meant to be.
Our Vision and Values
About Laken Doty, MSc.
Founder of Still Light Therapy | Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapist
Structured Therapy for Trauma, Anxiety & Emotional Regulation
I am a trauma-informed somatic clinician providing structured, depth-oriented therapy for individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation. My work is grounded in clinical training in forensic and abnormal psychology, with a focus on how lived experience shapes nervous system patterns and relational dynamics.
I specialize in trauma processing, identity-focused, and somatic and body-based methods. This structured approach supports sustainable healing and stabilization.
I also incorporate a sound-informed nervous system regulation method I developed to support embodied awareness and physiological settling. When clinically appropriate, these approaches are intentional within a trauma-informed framework.
Sessions are collaborative, consent-led, and paced to ensure depth without destabilization, supporting regulation, insight, and long-term stabalization.
